Dr Georg Ferm
Dr. Georg Ferm is the founder of Elit Ortopedi and one of Sweden’s most experienced and innovative orthopedists. He was an early pioneer in combining traditional orthopedics with modern bio-orthopedics and was among the first in the country to integrate both ultrasound diagnostics and advanced biological treatments into daily clinical practice.
With many years of experience as a Senior Consultant and Orthopedic Surgeon, he masters the full orthopedic spectrum – from surgery to biological treatments such as PRP, stem cells, and ACP Max. Furthermore, Dr. Ferm is internationally recognized for his clinical expertise in orthobiologics and is part of a global network of leading specialists.
As a physician, he is appreciated for his calm, educational, and attentive manner, as well as his ability to create a sense of security and trust. Dr. Ferm continuously visits world-leading clinics to exchange knowledge and bring home the latest evidence-based techniques, ensuring that patients at Elit Ortopedi receive care at the highest international level – without waiting times.
Fredrik Eriksson
Fredrik Eriksson has an extensive leadership background in healthcare and medical technology. He is a trained Medical Physicist from Karolinska Hospital, holds a Master of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. He has also published scientific works in the field of radiation therapy for cancer diseases.
As CEO of Elit Ortopedi, Fredrik is responsible for overall business development and drives the medical innovation agenda together with Dr. Ferm. With his combination of technical expertise, academic weight, and strategic leadership, he contributes to developing the clinic into one of the Nordics’ leading centers for orthopedics and bio-orthopedics.
Cecilia Ferm
Cecilia Ferm is a passionate and experienced profile within fitness, health, and performance development. With an impressive 25-year elite sports career as a national basketball player, she has gathered over 30 years of in-depth knowledge in training, performance, nutrition, and well-being. Her athletic journey culminated in her participation in the Swedish TV show “Mästarnas Mästare” (Champion of Champions) in 2017.
Cecilia is educated at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) and the Stockholm Institute of Education and has worked as a licensed teacher for 17 years.
At Elit Ortopedi, Cecilia serves as the Head of Finance and Marketing, working closely with management on business development, branding, and ensuring modern, patient-focused communication.
In addition to her administrative roles, she is a Personal Trainer, nutritional advisor, and specialist in fascia treatment. With her steady, attentive, and dedicated personality, she helps both patients and clients reach their goals – whether it concerns rehabilitation, performance, or a healthier lifestyle.
Cecilia is the partner of Dr. Georg Ferm, and together they have three sons. They share a strong passion for health, well-being, and development.
