PRP for Knee Osteoarthritis: The Gold Standard in Injections
Research consistently shows that Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is superior to other injection treatments. PRP provides significantly better pain relief and functional improvement than hyaluronic acid and corticosteroids (Level 1 Evidence).

Lipogems – Modern Treatment Using the Body's Own Adipose Tissue
Lipogems is a minimally invasive method that uses the patient’s own adipose (fat) tissue to reduce pain and improve joint mobility.
Lipogems is a well-documented method with over 160 published scientific articles and long-term follow-ups of up to five years.
- The ARISE Study (Jan 2023): A major American FDA-approved study comparing Lipogems MicroFat with cortisone injections for knee osteoarthritis to demonstrate efficacy regarding pain and function.
- ESSKA Consensus (Apr 2022): Europe’s largest organization for specialists published guidelines to ensure that PRP and Lipogems are used in a scientifically grounded and transparent manner.

This study compares micro-fragmented adipose tissue (Lipogems) with hyaluronic acid (lubricating injection) for knee osteoarthritis and often demonstrates a more long-lasting effect for the cell therapy.
